Forum 3: Audio Story Components
Topic Introduction
When deciding on a topic for my audio story, I tried to come up with something that could apply to most people. That is how I decided to make an audio story on traveling. In the audio story, I asked my friend to tell her experience on traveling and tips and tricks she has when it comes to packing. She is currently in Europe and will be there for a week so this goes to show the passion she has for traveling and experiencing new places.

Introduction of Characters and Experts
As previously mentioned, I used one of my friends to speak about her traveling experiences and the advice she has when it comes to packing and traveling on a budget. As far as experts, I believe I am going to speak to someone in the study abroad program so they can share their interests in traveling and the importance of it, especially in college. I also am thinking about finding an upperclassmen that has studied abroad so they can share their insight on the topic as well.
Background/Transition/Intro/Outro Music
England 1:54 Pictures of the Floating World England Ambient 0
I hope to use this as my intro to my podcast. I enjoy how upbeat the track is because I believe it would work amazing as an introduction and it reminds me of something you would hear on the news which ties into traveling.
Cha-Cha-Cha: Beach Life 5:11 Dee Yan-Key latin summer Jazz 0
I am hoping to use this as a transition because it is very relaxed and carefree and reminds me of traveling. It gives off a very happy and classical essence and I hope it makes the listeners feel as though they are going to a tropical destination.
Lively 6:55 Dee Yan-Key Swing Suite in A minor Jazz 0
This is the piece I would like to use as an outro due to the happy beat it provides. I think this would be a nice outro because it's very relaxed which is great to conclude the audio story and leaves the listeners in a calm and relaxed state.

When thinking about sound effects that would be great for traveling my mind automatically went to a plane landing or taking off. However, I decided to create something that was more realistic to accomplish so I thought of what you would need in order to go on a plane; a suitcase. After this realization I thought the sound of a suitcase being zipped would be the perfect sound effect. I know for myself, it is a very satisfying sound and makes me want to pack up and go to my dream destination!
